What is the service?

The service is focussed on prevention, protection and promotion of health for all children, young people and their families/carers in North Somerset. To provide a multi- agency locally based approach to delivering a holistic service.

 Who is this service for?

The Specialist Community Public Health Nursing Services is a universal service (Healthy Child Programme) to all children, young people and their families in North Somerset.

How do I contact them?

The service offers an open referral system. All new born babies are allocated to a health visiting team linked to the family GP.  The majority of referrals for additional assessment/intervention are self-referrals or come from GP's, children's centres or social care.
