Musculoskeletal Outpatient Physiotherapy Service

What is the service?

A service for patients who have pain and dysfunction arising from the musculoskeletal system. The Service ensures effective management of the condition with treatment ranging from physical techniques such as joint and soft tissue manipulation, exercise therapy, posture and ergonomics, acupuncture and electrical modalities and specific condition related health education and advice. The Service also provides group exercise classes for certain conditions

The service works integrally with the  Musculoskeletal Interface Service.

Who is the service for?

The service is for patients who have pain and dysfunction arising from the musculoskeletal system who are able to attend an outpatients department. eg muscles, bones, joints, ligaments or tendons.

How do I contact them?

The service is accessed by GPs, Consultants, Extended Scope Practitioners and other Health Care Professionals

Times and venues vary with clinics and classes at Clevedon Hospital Outpatients, Towerhouse, Nailsea and Marina Healthcare Centre, Portishead. Please contact the service for further details.
