IV Antibiotics Service

What is the service?

The community nurses administer intravenous (IV) antibiotic therapy in the home environment.  This means that patients can remain at home rather than go to hospital for their treatment.

Who is the service for?

Patients who require a course of IV therapy.

How do I contact them?

Access to the IV Service is through a Health Care Professional and nurses from the Rapid Response Team deliver the treatment.
