District Nursing

The District Nurses will provide nursing care in a variety of non-hospital settings including patient's homes and residential care homes. District Nurses assess, plan and implement packages of care to manage peoples' health needs.  District Nurses work closely with people, their carers and professionals including other agencies such as Health and Social Care and Voluntary organisations.

Who is this service for?

This service is for adults over 18 who require nursing care. 

Patients need to be predominately housebound and unable to attend a clinic or treatment room for their nursing care.
